Bulbophyllum rothschildianum is a species from China, India, Nepal and Bhutan. In the wild this species is found in humid, damp forests. The inflorescence is umbellate bears a few flowers that each measure 17cm across. The flowers usually bloom during the spring.
This plant is flowering size. Bulbophyllum rothschildianum should be grown in a pot or mounted, in moderate shade, never in direct sunlight and be kept evenly moist. This plant grows well in an intermediate greenhouse or indoors if a difference between day and night temperatures.
